Bardoseneticcube, one of the key names in Russian noise, has this time created nearly an hour's worth of easily approached and very clever noise. This is no harsh stuff, not even very hard noise, but neither does it fit the profile of heavy electronics or noise ambient. The closest categorization I can think of is "composed noise". The pieces flow and develop as natural-seeming wholes both internally and from track to track. On one there are table saw -like mutating sound waves, on another a swirling basic pattern and yet another features a pulsating rhythm. The album's 11-minute final track, which follows the last of those patterns, is a perfect work combining fine noise with a Troum-like hypnotic feel. And the other tracks are great, too, even if they're not as catchy as that one. This is thus the kind of a noise album one both wants and actually can listen to over and over.

Venäläisen noisen kärkinimiin kuuluva Bardoseneticcube on luonut tälle kiekolle vajaan tunnin helposti lähestyttävää ja erittäin fiksua hälyä. Kyse ei ole todellakaan mistään harshnoisesta, eikä edes erityisen raskaastakaan noisesta, mutta toisaalta materiaali ei myöskään mene raskaselektroniikan tai noiseambientin muottiin. Raidat liikkuvat ja kehittyvät luontevina kokonaisuuksina niin sisäisesti kuin kappaleelta toisellekin. Yhdellä on pitkiä, pöytäsahan kaltaisesti muuntuvia ääniaaltoja, toisessa kieppuvaa peruskuviota, kolmannessa sykkivää rytmisyyttä. Viimeisintä näistä noudattava levyn 11-minuuttinen päätöskappale onkin ehdoton täysosuma, jossa hieno hälyisyys yhdistyy Troumin kaltaiseen hypnoottisuuteen. Myös muut raidat ovat kaikki erittäin onnistuneita, vaikka eivät olekaan samalla tavoin tarttuvia. Kyseessä on siis juuri sellainen hälylevy jota sekä jaksaa että haluaa kuunnella kerta toisensa jälkeen. Loistava. Jiituomas
